AI Co-Pilots and Agents

I help small teams automate repeatable work, make company knowledge easier to use, and build websites and internal business applications. We start with the business problem and choose the simplest solution that fits.

Not everything should be automated.

The useful question is not “Where can we add AI?” It is “Where are people losing time, context, or momentum? What is the safest, simplest way to improve that?” Sometimes the answer is an AI system. Sometimes it is a better process. Good consulting knows the difference.

I only take on a project when I strongly believe I can add value to your business. And I only build a system when I believe your team will actually use it.

[ 01 / CAPABILITIES ]

What would make work easier?

Each engagement is scoped around the problem. The stack follows the work.

/01

AI assistants

Turn scattered business knowledge into a focused AI tool. I build AI assistants that retrieve from approved documents, answer in plain language, and surface source context so people can verify what they are seeing.

Internal knowledge assistants
/02

Workflow automation

Automate the repeatable parts of any workflow. Routine work moves forward on its own, and exceptions reach the right person.

Fewer missed steps
/03

Websites + apps

Help customers find you, get in touch, or use a service. Give your team a practical app that removes a recurring headache.

Websites that turn visitors into inquiries. Internal applications that make work easier.
/04

Workflow review

Map the work, identify the real bottleneck, and decide whether a process change, conventional automation, or AI is worth testing.

Business context meets technical execution.

I’m Andres Ruiz, founder of AI Co-Pilots and Agents. Before founding the business, I spent more than a decade across AdTech, startup operations, analytics, and client service. My experience includes roles at major media publishers Univision and The Guardian, as well as at TRUSTX, a high-growth programmatic advertising startup. I hold an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

I’ve experienced firsthand the reporting, billing, onboarding, and integration challenges that can slow small teams down. That perspective shapes how I build with AI: understand the business, listen to the people doing the work, and focus on outcomes that add real value. I build around the work people need to accomplish, then select the tools that fit.

My approach is hands-on, practical, and business-led. I build solutions alongside the people who will actually use them.

[ 05 / TOOLS ]

The project chooses the stack.

I use coding agents such as Codex and Claude Code to help build websites and apps, analyze code and workflows, troubleshoot issues, and review changes. I set the direction, approve every change before it ships, and remain responsible for what gets delivered.

The tools are not the offer: I choose the stack for each project based on your goals, existing systems, data needs, budget, and who will maintain the result.

Bring the problem. We’ll find the next step.

Tell me what you’d like to build or improve. We’ll discuss the work, the people involved, and whether I’m the right person to help.

If your team is digging through documents, redoing the same tasks, or copying information between systems that don’t connect, there’s likely a better way. We’ll pinpoint the bottleneck together, then choose the right fix: an AI assistant that answers from your documents, an agent that handles routine tasks, an automated workflow, or a simpler website or app.

I respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.

Available for in-person work across Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties, and remotely.

Post-launch support is available through a separately scoped consultancy retainer.

[ 07 / FAQ ]

Frequently asked questions.

Clear answers before we begin.

What does a project cost?

Every project has a fixed fee agreed before work starts. I don’t bill hourly.

Do I need to be technical?

No. You know your business; I handle the technology and explain it in plain language.

Will AI make mistakes with my customers?

I keep a person in charge of decisions that need judgment. AI assistants answer from information you approve and show their sources, and anything uncertain goes to a human.

Can you work with the tools we already use?

Usually. The stack follows the work: I start from your existing systems and add only what’s needed.

Who owns what you build?

You do. Once the project is paid for, the website, code, content and documentation belong to your business. Your domain, hosting and software accounts are set up in your company’s name, with you as the owner, so nothing is locked to me. If we ever stop working together, you keep everything, and I hand over access and notes so anyone can pick it up from there.

What happens after launch?

Ongoing support is available as a separately scoped retainer, so you only pay for the level of help you want.

Do you work in person?

Yes, across Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties, and remotely anywhere.
